I absolutely hate it when someone famous dies and people bemoan their loss, not forgetting to slip it into the conversation that they were great friends, when and where they met and what they did together.

Pet Peeve 1
I absolutely hate it when people mention, matter-of-fact, that they have gay friends as if they were doing the gay community a favor and they should be given a pink medal of honor.
